Agape (αγάπη) love is just. But it is also merciful. You may be correct in saying “I deserve to be ____ in this situation.” However, you would be right to say, “But I will have mercy, and let it go.”

The choice to walk in agape love is a difficult choice. Because agape love is death to ourself.
