At Liberty we desire to practically embody Jesus’ mission expressed in John 10:10 where Jesus says, “I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” Therefore we want to help educate, involve, and empower the local Church to live this mission of Jesus in a practical way.
We want to offer, build, support, and fight for Life in every aspect. We believe that any attack on life, be it homelessness, labor exploitation, sex trafficking, orphanhood, abortion, or crime, is a call to action for the Church–a call to live and give the abundant life that Jesus desires.
Opportunities to show the love and mercy of Jesus exist inside the church, but we also believe there are great opportunities available partnering with other organizations working in our community. Two we work with on a regular basis are:
Thrive
We believe that all of life is precious, including unborn children. We have partnered with Thrive, a pro-life women’s healthcare organization, to volunteer at their locations by helping and ministering to ladies who find themselves with an unplanned pregnancy.
LINC
The mission statement of LINC is to support disadvantaged families on the path to self-sufficiency. They take a comprehensive, wholistic approach to meeting physical, educational, social, and spiritual needs of their community. We have partnered with them putting on VBS programs and summer BBQs and many other opportunities exist!
