Michael has been the lead pastor at Liberty since 2019. He was the associate pastor at Liberty for the preceding 10 years.
While pastoring, Michael taught Latin part-time for 24 years at Trinity Christian Academy and Liberty Classical Center.
He currently serves on the board of Reach Reproductive Health, one of the largest pro-life ministries in the greater St. Louis area.
He is also the Vice President of St. Charles Christian Home Educators, an organization that provides support, fellowship, and classes for homeschooling families.
Michael has coached his children at all levels of basketball through the St. Louis Blue Knights, a homeschool sports organization. He is chairman of the Coaches Committee, helping to place top-level, Christian coaches for each of the teams.
He has been to the country of Belize, located in Central America, 13 times in the past 15 years, having a passion to build up the local church in that country.
Michael has a Bachelor’s from the University of Missouri–Columbia, a Master’s from Covenant Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate from Whitefield Theological Seminary.
He and his wife, Andrea, have been married for 26 years. They have been blessed with four wonderful children: Logan (23), Job (21), Trinity (18), and Ethan (16).
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, doing small house projects, and working outdoors.
