This year Liberty Youth Productions will be performing Alice in Wonderland. We hope to have two casts with both speaking and non-speaking parts. There will be a part for everyone who wants one. The play is open to all youth between the ages of 6 and 16.

Larger parts will be reserved for participants who are fully committed to the success of the play. If there is enough interest in parts, we will opt to double cast key roles in the play. If this happens, some actors will perform on one night or the other. This also helps us in the event that one actor becomes sick on the night of the play.

We would like to use this production to educate our kids, while reaching the community, in a similar way to Vacation Bible School. We are hoping to plan a time of outreach with the Silver Cord ministry, performing excerpts of our play for the precious men and woman at the local nursing home.

This will be a production of a similar scale to last year’s. We will need the help of every parent to avoid overburdening individual contributors. Parents and teens, please prayerfully consider where the Lord would have you serve. Categories include: Costumes, Makeup, Sets, Props, Publicity, Assistant Director for youngest actors, and Leaders of a short morning Bible study.

There will be a $10 fee per child plus a $5 script fee ($30 maximum per family). This helps to defer some of the costs of royalty fees, sets, props and costumes. There are some parts of your child’s costume that you maybe responsible for. They will need to be OK’d with the Costume Director, Jennifer Wilson.

Actors are required to do the following:

Participate in all required practices (dependent upon your role)

 Have lines memorized 
by the FIRST day of practice

 Give God the glory and not themselves

Sign a commitment paper (attached)

Sunday April 3^rd 12:40-2pm and Wednesday April 6^th 5pm-6:30pm in the conference room. Auditions for parts are divided into 10 minute time slots. Email preferred date and time slot to fam4gruenders@gmail.com, or text 314-403-9273. When students come to tryouts, they should know whether they can commit to a large part or not, and should be ready to read and perform from the pages provided.

For the audition, please have your audition form completely filled out and bring money for script & play fees. You will receive your script once your play fees have been received.  Please make out your checks to “Liberty Christian Church” and write in the memo “Liberty Youth Productions” or “LYP”.
